Description
This is one of the very first MKVIs made (c.1954) and has the rare scroll logo on the octave key as opposed to the later "blue S" logo.
It has been fully stripped, washed and professionally rebuilt by our in store tech (£300 cost) and plays perfectly with a lush warm punchy tone that the early 5 digits are known for.
Originally owned by noteable sax player and educator Les Evans and then resold in 1966 (bill of sale included) - it's only had 2 owners.
Overall a superb, vintage, rare, French, classic horn - 5 digit MKVIs are increasing in value every year and are getting scarcer to find..
Comes complete with original selmer case and of course, our famous 12 month warranty!
