Description

This is a great playing Selmer Balanced Action alto sax made in 1937, Paris,, France.

It has been fully restored with fresh pro pads (£500 cost) and plays perfectly with a lush warm tone that you only get with BA's.

Not a "museum piece" this has all the character of a well played pro horn - few marks, knocks, lacquer wear etc but mechanically is very good indeed super tight keywork, very responsive and excellent intonation!

Overall a superb, vintage, rare, French, classic horn - these are increasing in value every year and are getting scarcer to find..
