KEILWERTH NEW KING TENOR SAX C.1959 REFURBISHED

This is a New King series III made by Keilwerth in Germany during 1959.

In super clean condition plays perfectly with a huge warm, punchy tone great intonation and pretty modern feeling ergonomics.

This is the model with rolled toneholes and would have originally had the angel wings plastic key guard (still has the original plastic pants guard on the back)  it's had some very well executed modifications  replacement key guards (which look very cool) adjustable G# bar, modern style thumb rest, strap hook re positioning  - all great ideas which make this sax even more playable/ reliable.

Looks great in original plate with gold wash bell.
